Cornerstone Christian Preschool believes that no one is too young to begin learning about God’s love.  Not only can young children learn, they can be examples for other believers.  Paul says in 1 Timothy 4:12; “Don’t let anyone look down on you   because you are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in faith and in purity.”    

Playground:
Both sections of our 4,200 square foot playground contain age-appropriate equipment, are secured by fencing, and water fountains are readily accessible.  The division of the playground allows the two-year olds to have an area apart from the older children that will ensure their safety.   

Staff Training and Experience:    
Our staff is carefully screened and referenced to meet the highest of expectations.  They are loving, dedicated, Christian teachers who have a heart for children.  All are expected to follow the requirements as members of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the state of Virginia.  A few of the requirements include attending in-service events hosted by ACSI, ongoing training in Early Education, Abuse and Neglect, Nutrition, etc. All of the staff have a high level experience with children.   

Each staff member must be certified by his or her practicing physician to be free from any disability which would prevent them from caring for your children.  We are required by the Virginia Department of Social Services to have staff that is CPR/First Aid & MAT certified and we meet that requirement.  Each staff member must complete a “Sworn Disclosure Statement” and consent to a “Criminal History Record” from the Virginia State Police Department.  Cornerstone Christian Preschool also requests a “Central Registry Search” from the Virginia Department of Social Service to ensure that your children are in the best of care.
